An industrial hygienist will conduct a walk-through visual inspection for mold/water intrusion. a. Any observations of water damage will be noted. b. Up to 5 surface samples may be collected if there is any surface mold observed. c. Up to 5 air samples will be collected for mold in air within the building. Two outside samples will be collected to provide comparison background data. 2. An Industrial hygienist will collect indoor air quality (IAQ) readings in the morning Exterior readings will also be collected for additional comparison data. a. Readings will be collected using TSI DustTrak DRX Model 8533s. b. Results will be compared to exterior readings, ASHRAE and AQI recommendations. 3. Up to three dust samples will be collected for rat allergens if requested. 4. A report providing recommendations for worker protection, and regulatory compliance shall be provided. The report will be reviewed and signed by a CIH. Reports are typically completed within 15 working days after receipt of laboratory results.
