Description
The Data Science Core (Core C) will offer comprehensive biostatistical and bioinformatic support to the UT Southwestern (UTSW) Liver Cancer SPORE. Core C supports the storage, retrieval, analysis, and sharing of diverse data types by developing IT infrastructure and providing biostatistical/bioinformatic support to ensure scientific integrity. It is organized into Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, and Data Management groups, providing day-to-day support for all SPORE investigators and maintaining resources for external researchers. Core C aims to provide dedicated data science support for experimental design, genomic and imaging data analysis, and maintain a web-based database for liver cancer biospecimens and data.
