Research project funded by NIGMS to study the role of corticotrophin releasing factor in visual cortical circuits and its impact on stress-related neuropsychiatric disorders.

Description

This project aims to elucidate the role of CRF in visual cortical circuits, with implications for understanding stress-related neuropsychiatric disorders. The study will reveal the properties and responses of V1CRF neurons and their influence on visual processing using whole-cell electrophysiology, multiplexed fluorescence confocal imaging, in vivo two-photon imaging, and fiber photometry.
