This award funds the ECSTATIC project, a trial innovation network led by experienced clinical trial leaders, aiming to enhance and accelerate clinical research through collaboration among multiple coordinating centers and expert groups.
Description
Clinical research comes in many different shapes and sizes, and a robust trial innovation network must accommodate all trial types, which no single organization can do alone. Our TIC will be Engaging Cooperative Sites for Trial Acceleration, Trust, Innovation, and Capability (ECSTATIC). Led by Drs. Gordon Bernard, Jonathan Casey, and Christopher Lindsell, each seasoned in leading and collaborating with multisite clinical trial networks, we will embrace and draw on expertise from 6 CTSA-aligned coordinating centers, and the national Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Design (BERD) group to build, test, and share new resources that will enhance and accelerate rigorous, reproducible research and improve human health.
