Description

The Research Capacity Core (RCC) aims to catalyze interdisciplinary research in brain health and cardiometabolic disease (CMD) disparities. It will expand research methodology capabilities and data-driven health analytics resources, including mobile health technologies, secondary data sources, biomarker development, and nanotechnology. The RCC will leverage biomedical and behavioral research facilities at NC A&T’s main campus, the Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering (JSNN), and regional research partner institutions. The core will support research infrastructure, community engagement, and foster methodologies relevant to human subject research. It will connect investigators to core facilities with advanced technologies and provide support services for study design and data analysis.
