Description
Community Transit issued a Request For Qualification (RFQ) for the final design of the Smokey Point Transit Center Expansion project. The project includes advanced and final design services (60%, 90%, 100%) including Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E) for construction, updates to environmental review documentation for FTA compliance, support for Right-of-Way and property acquisition, jurisdictional permitting and coordination, construction bid support, and Construction Engineering Services (CES). The expanded transit center is projected to be operational by June 2029. The RFQ will result in a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) contract beginning in July 2026 through project completion.
