Description
An orphan well in Reeves County is actively leaking produced water to the surface. The affected area measures approximately 1,200 feet by 375 feet and the chlorides tested 130,370 ppm. Requesting emergency PA funds to contain and haul fluids until State managed Plugging can plug the well. The district office in Midland contacted three (3) vendors that could provide the services and selected the vendor that could respond immediately and was the best value for the State of Texas.
