Description

The project aims to understand the mechanisms underlying the relationships amongst food insecurity, loss of control eating, and cardiometabolic health using longitudinal data capture over a 6-month study period in Hispanic/Latino adolescents, including qualitative interviews with caregivers and fasting labs to assess cardiometabolic health indicators. The study will inform intervention development and includes community-engaged research and prevention science.
