Description

This requirement is to establish a Standing Offer (SO) for the supply of a large number of specifically sized bird metal leg bands capable of uniquely marking and identifying free-living North American birds in a safe and standardized way for the Bird Banding Office (BBO) of Environment and Climate Change Canada's (ECCC) Canadian Wildlife Service. The Standing Offer will be for an initial one-year period with the option to extend for four additional one-year periods. All bands must be appropriately sized, safe for use on free-living birds, clearly legible even when worn, and uniquely and accurately numbered. The metal used must be suitable for use in a wide range of ecosystems and environments throughout the Northern Hemisphere, including temperate, boreal, and arctic ecosystems, as well as tropical rainforests.
