Description
Electronic Bids will be received on January 25, 2018 until 3:00 p.m., at which time they will be unlocked in a public meeting to be held in Conference Room 2A (2nd Floor), at McAllen City Hall and publicly read aloud. All Electronic Bids must be submitted via the City of McAllen’s bidding portal (www.ebidexchange.com/mcallen) on or before the aforementioned date and time. Hard copy and/or late bids will not be accepted. Purchase of twenty-three (23) new 2018 vehicles. Bidders receiving a notice via email, fax, or newspaper are advised to go online to the bidding portal for project details and bid submission. Hard copy bids are not accepted. A Bidder's Bond from a licensed surety company in Texas or a Certified Cashier's Check for at least 5% of the total bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope as a guarantee of compliance with specifications and delivery dates. The bond must be submitted before the bid opening date. Questions should be posted on the bidding portal under the tab labeled “Questions”. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive formalities, or accept the most advantageous bid. Bids may be held for 90 days. A Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for January 18, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. in Conference Room 2A, 2nd Floor, City Hall.
