Description
This project investigates how perturbations to antibody Fc-mediated functions contribute to increased TB risk in HIV-infected individuals. It involves a five-year career development program using advanced serology platforms, functional assays, and longitudinal cohort studies in Uganda and internationally. The candidate, Kathryn Anne Bowman, an Instructor in Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, will receive training in humoral immunology, innate immunity, TB immunology, bioinformatics, and translational research.
