Description

The project aims to causally test the role of the hippocampus in motor memory in young healthy adults using a novel non-invasive intervention called temporal interference stimulation (TIS). The study will evaluate the effect of TIS on hippocampal responses related to motor learning using functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The hypothesis is that HC-TIS will enhance offline motor learning by modulating hippocampal responses, providing causal evidence for the hippocampus's role in motor learning and validating TIS as a technique for deep brain stimulation.
