The University of New Mexico Hospital (UNMH) is the government buyer seeking contractors to provide general construction services for replacing the Nurse Call Systems in two facilities: the Main Hospital and the Barbara and Bill Richardson Pavilion (BBRP) Children's Hospital. Description
The University of New Mexico Hospital (UNMH) is seeking one or more contractors to provide general construction services for the replacement of the current Nurse Call Systems in the Main Hospital and in the Barbara and Bill Richardson (BBRP) Childrens Hospital. The scope includes areas of the Main Hospital that are not inpatient units and the 1st floor of BBRP. The work may take place over two to three years with possible contract extension. The contractor shall provide all required rough-in, electrical power, conduits, pathways, sleeves, conduit and/or cable supports, back boxes, installation of Rauland terminal cabinets, low voltage cabling, light control contact/interface at patient bed locations, and all patch and paint. The existing nurse call system shall remain functional during installation. Work in OR and Procedure Rooms shall be after hours; other work during normal business hours.
