UCB - Fresh Bagels

The University of Colorado Boulder (UCB) Campus Dining Services (CDS), a unit within the Division of Student Affairs, is the government buyer requesting fresh bagel deliveries. The awarded vendor will supply made-from-scratch, never pre-made frozen, fresh bagels to multiple dining centers and operations on the Boulder campus, including three Dining Centers, a full-service bakery department, a commissary department, eight Retail Operations, two Grab-N-Go Operations, and one Catering Operation. The vendor must deliver 50-60 dozen bagels per order on most occasions, with occasional smaller orders ranging from 2-12 dozen. Delivery is required seven days a week, including holidays, with specific delivery times and locations on campus such as Center for Community Dining, Village Center, Sewall Dining, Farrand Market, Kittredge Market, SEEC Caf, and UMC. The contract term is one year with an option to renew for four additional one-year periods. Prices must be firm for the first year, with limited price increases allowed in subsequent years based on CPI. The vendor must provide nutritional information, ingredient lists, allergen statements, and comply with strict sanitation and delivery requirements, including secure packaging and refrigerated transport. The vendor must assign an account representative and an in-house contact available daily from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm with a four-hour response time. The University reserves the right to inspect supplier premises and reject deliveries that do not meet quality or specification standards. The contract includes sustainability requirements encouraging reduced carbon footprint and packaging. The vendor must submit a disaster plan for continued deliveries during emergencies. Description

The University of Colorado Boulder campus is requesting bids for delivery of fresh bagels on an "as needed" basis. The term of the award will be for the period June 1, 2021 through May 31, 2022, with an option to renew the contract for four additional one year periods. Delivery of items will be to several individual Dining Centers. A standing purchase order will be established and bagels will be ordered as needed throughout the term of the bid. The award will be made to one firm on an all or nothing basis. The vendor must provide made from scratch, never pre-made frozen, delivered fresh bagels and services per the requirements stated. Delivery must be made seven days per week including holidays, with specific delivery times. The University reserves the right to add, delete or substitute any items on this bid throughout the term of the award. Pricing will be evaluated based on the lowest total quoted price.
