NIH grant awarded to Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science to study exercise-induced vascular health mechanisms and cardiometabolic benefits.

Description

This study aims to identify protective exercise-induced pathways to promote vascular health and mitigate cardiometabolic diseases. The research will develop “exercise in a dish” models integrating multiple cell types and mechanical forces, and investigate exercise-induced metabolites' role in modulating olfactory receptors in blood vessels.
