Description

This project encompasses repairs to several exterior concrete elements at Hazelwood Intermediate Care Facility. The South Stair at the Employee Parking Lot will be removed and replaced in entirety, along with a new surface-mounted handrail. The North Stair at the Employee Parking Lot will remain as existing, but will receive a new surface-mounted handrail. At the Dumpster area, the concrete dumpster pad, along with the perimeter asphalt, will be removed and replaced. Two engineered rubber curbs will be installed in this location. The West Ramp will have its topper slab removed and replaced, and receive a new surface-mounted guardrail and handrail. The North Ramp will have its topper slab removed and replaced, and will have the existing stair removed and replaced. Both the ramp and the stair will receive new surface-mounted guardrails and handrails. At the Loading Dock, four structural steel HSS columns will be removed and replaced, and will receive new footings. The existing guardrail will be removed and replaced with a surface-mounted guardrail.
