Description

The project aims to evaluate the feasibility, acceptability, and initial efficacy of a remote cognitive training intervention for Veterans with long COVID symptoms. The study will compare Compensatory Cognitive Training (CCT) with a control condition (Holistic Cognitive Education, HCE) in a pilot randomized controlled trial involving 70 Veterans. Outcomes include measures of overall functioning, cognitive performance, quality of life, psychiatric symptoms, sleep disturbance, and engagement in activities. The training includes components in cognitive rehabilitation, clinical trial methodology, biomarkers, and advanced statistics.
