Description
This project explores whether an inelastic, adjustable compression garment reduces swelling and improves strength and function compared to the current standard of care (elastic compression) after Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA). It is a randomized controlled trial involving 58 older adult participants undergoing TKA, assessing outcomes such as quadriceps strength, pain, range of motion, and physical function over 26 weeks post-surgery.
