The Nonhuman Primate (NHP) Core aims to consolidate supervision and performance of NHP experimental protocols for the project "Mechanisms Programming Protective Immunity from RhCMV/SIV Vaccine and IL-15 Actions." The core will manage all NHP studies including animal selection, housing, experimental procedures, specimen collection, necropsy, and data management. The goal is to determine the systems response to RhCMV/SIV vaccination and the role of IL-15 signaling in immune responses, supporting projects that analyze transcriptomic correlates, spatial responses, and vaccine efficacy.
