Description

The project aims to test the use of patient navigators to increase uptake of and persistence with evidence-based weight loss interventions among adults with overweight or obesity. Navigators will assess treatment barriers and preferences, provide education, support decision making, and monitor adherence to selected interventions over a 12-month period. The study will randomly assign 68 adults to either usual care or the navigator condition, with assessments at months 0, 6, and 12.
