This award supports research to discover new E3 ligase ligands for targeted protein degradation using chemical proteomics, expanding therapeutic options beyond current limitations.

Description

Targeted protein degradation (TPD) is an emerging therapeutic modality with the potential to overcome limitations of traditional pharmacological inhibition approaches. This project aims to design, synthesize, and validate new E3 ligases ligands to enable the development of novel degraders by using a chemoproteomic strategy targeting lysine, tyrosine, and serine residues on E3 ligases.
