Description
This project involves genetic and human genome research focused on human liver long noncoding RNAs and their role in metabolism. It uses an isogenic humanized mouse model combined with Nanopore direct RNA sequencing to generate a de novo transcript-level annotation of human liver lncRNAs under diverse metabolic conditions. The research developed a cross-species pipeline to identify functionally conserved lncRNA metabolic regulators (fcLMRs) and identified 59 high-confidence fcLMRs associated with conserved metabolic pathways, providing a framework for prioritizing human lncRNAs with functional roles in metabolism.
