Description

Scope: Remove existing divider wall between offices and cubicles and dispose of any material. W.O. #3341294 - Mobilization, Insurance, General Conditions, Interior Finish Protection, and Supervision. OUTSIDE NORMAL HOURS WORK - Remove the existing divider wall between office cubicles and the walkway; the existing wall length is approx. 66 LF and is 35-1/2" tall. The site visit assumes the wall is constructed with typical building materials (2x materials, wood or steel stud construction >20ga) and drywall finished; the existing wall has a metal cap between the 2 x 8 wood top and the drywall, as shown in the photos. If other materials are discovered during demolition, a change order will be required. - Remove empty electrical conduits and boxes and cut the pipe at the concrete floor level, assuming that the area should not exceed 5 inches to be cut at the concrete height. A site visit has shown no wire in the existing conduits and was removed previously by others; if wire is found inside the wall area, removal by others or additional charges will be required to remove. - Hauling material from the 3rd floor in carts/dollys and disposal of offiste, elevator use will be required. Full access to all work areas is needed to remove the materials from the project area. Dump truck parking will be required as close to the 1st-floor exit door. - Cleanup and Punchout . . .
