Description
This project aims to use integrated super-resolution cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) and deep learning (DL) to segregate passive and active causes of impaired relaxation in the left ventricle, which is a key factor in diastolic heart failure. The study involves ex vivo analysis in mice, in vivo prediction in mice, and clinical assessment in humans to improve individualized treatment of diastolic dysfunction.
