Description
The project leverages a partnership with the Family Heart Foundation to refine and test two approaches to implement cascade screening in individuals with familial hypercholesterolemia (FH). The study aims to improve timely FH diagnosis and reduce morbidity by testing health system-mediated and Family Heart Foundation-mediated strategies informed by behavioral economics in a randomized controlled trial with 300 probands from Penn Medicine.
