Description

Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC) shall collaborate with Applied Research Services, Inc. (ARS) to rebuild a simulation model to support annual population forecasts. The projections will include total population and required inmate subpopulations to support operational planning and capital investment. Maintenance and support include annual monitoring and refreshment of forecast data for the fiscal year forecast, allowing GDC to measure impacts concerning admissions, sub-population types, and length of stay in real time. ARS will monitor monthly forecasts, identify deviations, make mid-year corrections, provide forecast data for review, and draft a report summarizing findings. The contract period is from 04/01/2026 to 03/31/2027 with a total cost of $95,000.
