Description
This project aims to evaluate a multilevel intervention, LAFIYA Pharmacy, designed to increase HIV self-testing (HIVST) and pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) uptake among men with high HIV exposure in Ghana. The study will finalize and pilot the intervention through focus groups, expert review, and a stepped-wedge trial across 12 pharmacies, involving 60 pharmacists and 240 men. The project will generate evidence on the feasibility and effectiveness of pharmacy-based HIV prevention services in resource-limited settings, with implications for similar models in the U.S.
