Description

The project aims to develop a non-invasive wearable device for ultrasound stimulation of the retina to restore partial vision in blind individuals. The device will include an image acquisition unit, an image processing unit, and a flexible ultrasound transducer array placed outside the eyeball, functioning similarly to a contact lens. The goal is to demonstrate that ultrasound stimulation is a safe, effective, and high-resolution method for vision restoration.
