Description

This project proposes a novel application of two genetic methods—a genome-wide by environment interaction study and polygenic scores—to study how maternal and fetal genetics may modify the association between prenatal exposure to organophosphate ester flame retardants and child neurodevelopment. The knowledge gained will lead to better identification of high-risk mothers and children and guide development of strategies to protect sensitive subgroups.
