NIH research grant to develop advanced computational tools using deep learning to evaluate and improve medical imaging systems' performance for diagnostic tasks, enhancing patient care.

Description

This project aims to develop open-source, modality-agnostic computational methods for computing objective image quality measures (OIQMs) that quantify the best possible performance of an imaging system for clinically relevant tasks, facilitating assessment of task-relevant information in image data and accelerating the translation of promising imaging technologies to clinical use.
