Award to Stanford University to develop AI-driven precision health interventions for aging and Alzheimer's disease, focusing on digital biomarkers and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Description
The project aims to develop effective strategies to prevent or slow neurocognitive and neuropsychiatric symptoms, thereby preserving functional independence in individuals at risk for or living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (AD/ADRD). Leveraging advanced AI algorithms, scalable digital biomarkers, and digital interventions, the SU-AITC will serve as a national hub to address these challenges. The initiative focuses on providing research leadership, supporting translational research, fostering multidisciplinary collaborations, and establishing resources and training for AI-based precision health interventions.
