Description

This project aims to develop a new AFM-IR technology, dubbed resonance-enhanced null-deflection IR (RENDIR) spectroscopic imaging, which will include custom electronics, optimized data recording, expanded laser range, and novel optics. These advances will enable high-quality signals, ~5 nm resolution, lower noise, higher sensitivity, and faster data acquisition, surpassing current state-of-the-art techniques.
