Description
Investigating predictors of smoking cessation and relapse in socioeconomically disadvantaged young adults (SDYA) who smoke to understand the impact of social-contextual stressors on psychopharmacological mechanisms of smoking cessation and relapse experienced in real-time among 100 SDYA who smoke and are willing to make a serious quit attempt in the next 30 days. The research aims to identify event-level predictors that lead to smoking relapse in SDYA to inform the development of tailored smoking cessation interventions addressing barriers to cessation and reducing tobacco-related health disparities.
