Description
This project aims to determine when in the development of type 1 diabetes the exocrine pancreas becomes affected and whether stool or blood exocrine pancreas markers predict the onset of type 1 diabetes in those who are at risk. It also investigates the causes of exocrine pancreas changes seen in type 1 diabetes.
