Description

This project proposes an innovative summer training program aimed at introducing fundamental principles of biostatistics and data science to promising undergraduate and beginning graduate students from various STEM fields. The program focuses on careers as quantitative scientists with an emphasis on biomedical research, particularly in areas related to heart, lung, blood, sleep disorders, and infectious disease epidemiology.
