Development of an augmented reality platform to objectively assess motor and cognitive functions in Parkinson's disease patients, enhancing treatment and disease tracking.
Description
The project aims to develop an accurate, valid, and reliable augmented reality assessment platform for quantifying motor and non-motor performance of Parkinson's disease under clinical and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL) augmented reality environments. The platform will objectively quantify cardinal motor signs and IADL performance to facilitate comprehensive treatment and precise tracking of disease progression, potentially optimizing medication and deep brain stimulation programming.
