Description
This project aims to increase the completion of patient-reported outcome (PRO) assessments among cancer patients undergoing systemic therapy for head and neck or lung cancer. It involves testing an innovative digital platform, the Computerized Intervention Authoring System (CIAS), integrated within Epic electronic health records, to provide enhanced PRO monitoring, including PRO-CTCAE symptom assessments and self-management strategies. The study will evaluate whether this intervention improves PRO assessment completion rates, influences patient self-efficacy and expectations, and varies by patient characteristics.
