Development of joint predictive models for multiple health outcomes to enhance clinical decision-making, with applications in cardiology, neonatal care, and dementia care.
Description
This project aims to develop joint modeling frameworks to predict multiple health outcomes simultaneously, improving clinical decision-making. It addresses gaps in statistical modeling for health outcomes by developing a joint model for longitudinal markers and mortality and creating a new calibration metric for joint predictions. The methods will be applied to data from the PIPER-ICD study and other clinical areas to facilitate personalized treatment strategies.
