Description
The Midwest D-CFAR Clinical Science Core (CSC) aims to address clinical challenges related to HIV and its comorbid conditions, including mental health issues, drug use, cardiovascular disease, metabolic disorders, and cognitive impairment. The project supports interdisciplinary investigator-initiated clinical research projects through training, resource provision, and analytical support. Objectives include providing study coordination, protocol development, ethical and regulatory approval, and access to clinical trial facilities; facilitating idea generation and pilot funding applications; and offering biostatistical, data management, and geospatial analysis resources.
