Description
This research aims to uncover the mechanisms through which tumors and their microenvironments drive cachexia by disrupting systemic metabolism, focusing on interactions with critical metabolic regulatory organs (the TMaE). The study will investigate tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) and their role in muscle and fat wasting, as well as liver-mediated pathways involved in cachexia.
