NIH grant awarded to support the Immune Monitoring and Flow Cytometry Shared Resource, enhancing cancer immunology and immunotherapy research through advanced instrumentation and expertise.
Description
The Immune Monitoring and Flow Cytometry Shared Resource (IM&FCSR) of the Fred Hutch/University of Washington/Seattle Children’s Cancer Consortium provides services and expertise supporting laboratory and clinical studies in cancer immunology, immunotherapy, transplant biology, infectious disease, and vaccine development. It supports research such as characterizing immune cell phenotypes, persistence, and functionality in response to immunotherapies. The resource includes advanced instrumentation, technical expertise, customer service, and education in flow cytometry and immune assays. The project includes expansion and upgrade of the resource with new instrumentation, molecular assays, and data management systems to facilitate advanced research in cancer immunology and immunotherapy.
