Description
This project uses a piglet model of Legg-Calvé-Perthes disease (LCPD), a pediatric disease affecting the hip, to determine the cell signaling changes that underlie tissue damage observed on the microscopic level and with MRI. The goal is to better understand the biology of the disease and assess potential treatments effective in children.
