Description
The project applies a syndemic framework to characterize how multiple, co-occurring health conditions cluster and interact under social and structural adversity among people living with HIV (PWH). It aims to identify patterns of disease burden that accelerate aging, using secondary data analysis of the MACS/WIHS Combined Cohort Study. The study will characterize comorbid disease phenotypes, assess their synergistic effects on aging, determine social and structural drivers, and model intervention pathways.
