This project aims to develop rapid antisuicidal therapies using individualized MRI-guided accelerated TMS targeting a novel brain region, to reduce suicidal thoughts and behaviors during vulnerable periods such as psychiatric hospitalization and post-discharge.
Description
The proposed research seeks to address the need for rapid, safe and effective treatments to prevent suicide in the most vulnerable periods by studying individualized MRI-guided accelerated transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to a novel parietal brain target and assessing both target engagement and clinical efficacy.
