Description

Replacement of the Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) located at 5501 Centerfield Road, Summerfield, NC 27358. The contractor is to provide all required labor, tools, material and equipment for the replacement of the UPS that services the communication infrastructure of the public safety trunked 800 Mhz radio system. The existing unit is at the end of life and a new unit is needed to maintain reliability and continuity of operations in the event of an emergency. Work includes removal and re-installation of the UPS, startup coordination, permitting, inspections, documentation, and one preventative maintenance visit after operation. Coordination with Guilford County Emergency Services and Guilford Metro 911 is required. Evening or weekend work may be required with an add alternate for after-hours installation.
