This project explores NR4A1's role in resolving pain and aims to develop non-addictive therapies targeting NR4A1 for pain conditions linked to opioid abuse. It includes testing FDA-approved NR4A1 agonists and identifying biomarkers for pain resolution.

Description

The study investigates the role of NR4A1 in pain resolution, aiming to validate NR4A1 as a non-addictive therapeutic target for postoperative and low back pain, conditions at high risk of opioid abuse. It will also identify SPP1 as a biomarker for pain resolution and test NR4A1 agonists.
