Description
This research aims to develop rapid, personalized tools to predict the clinical trajectory of septic patients based on immune phenotype, and to integrate this information into clinical care. The project involves validation of rapid microfluidic cytokine analysis, comparison of chronic critical illness syndrome following sepsis using transcriptomic and metabolomic data, and development of in vitro models of human myeloid-derived suppressor cells for preclinical testing of therapies.
