Description
The Administrative Core will coordinate the administrative, fiscal, and organizational aspects of this P01 program. This is a complex and highly interactive program involving investigators from several institutions, including work in non-human primate models. The program has joint Principal Investigators Drs. Paula Cannon (USC) and Hans-Peter Kiem (FHCC). Dr. Cannon will serve as the NIH primary contact and oversee all financial interactions and sub-contracts. Both Dr. Cannon and Dr. Kiem will be supported by local administrative staff to facilitate communication among the co-PIs and within the broader program. The goals of the Administrative Core are to provide leadership and guidance for scientific investigations and collaborations, ensure effective program functioning through administrative, fiscal, and scientific review procedures, and facilitate communication and data dissemination among investigators.
