Description
This project aims to study high-impact chronic pain (HICP) in sickle cell disease (SCD), focusing on patient-centered endpoints, novel blood biomarkers, and long-term outcomes. The study will follow 300 adults with SCD every 6 months over 2 years to identify risk factors, preferences for pain-related endpoints, and proteomic biomarkers associated with HICP and pain outcomes.
