Description
This study will explore the impact of continuous theta burst stimulation (cTBS) to the intraparietal sulcus (IPS) on arousal symptoms among patients with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The trial aims to demonstrate that IPS cTBS reduces arousal compared to sham cTBS, interacts with extinction training to improve arousal, and has a dose/response effect on arousal. It also aims to show that IPS cTBS improves retention of extinction learning, an experimental analogue of exposure therapy.
